Privacy policy
VOOKS is a product of BB Creations LTD, a company registered in Cyprus under number HE457277, with its registered office at Efesou 9, Paralimni 5280, Ammochostos, Cyprus ("bbcreations", "we", "us").
This policy explains what we collect when you visit vooks.app or join the VOOKS early access list, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can and we never sell it.
What we collect
- When you join early access: your email address and, if you choose to tell us, a book or paper you'd like to see and how you read today.
- Referral information: a personal invite code we create for you, and the code of whoever invited you.
- Technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user agent, used only to stop spam and abuse. We don't store your raw IP address with your signup.
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and this site doesn't set cookies. Your browser keeps your invite code locally so we can show your status when you come back.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use your data to invite you to early access, send you launch updates, give referral credit and understand which titles to make first. BB Creations LTD is the controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the list, and on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. We only share it with service providers who help us host the site and send email, under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires it.
AI and your questions
When the app launches, the questions you ask Vee will be processed by AI models, which may include carefully selected third-party model providers under contract. They may not use your conversations to train their models. The app will have its own privacy notice explaining this in detail.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed for the launch of VOOKS.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@bbcreations.so. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, if you're on the list, tell you by email.
